Untamed Ventures, Est. 2009, is one of the few owner-managed safari tour operators in East Africa. A company dedicated to providing the utmost quality of service and client care second to none in the region in which we operate. Despite significant growth in the industry, Untamed Ventures still leads the market when it comes to offering quality safaris in East Africa. Our ability to meet the needs of the most demanding and discerning clientele, has firmly established Untamed Ventures with an excellent reputation within the travel industry worldwide. The proprietor and Kenyan local, Peter Kamau Mugo, takes a personal interest in every safari tour, from planning through completion. CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Untamed Ventures supports a number of good causes including an orphanage in Nairobi with over 40 children. Through our safari camps we also operate Wildlife and Community Trust, whose mandate it is to try and better the lives of communities in wildlife areas, and to educate them on the benefits of wildlife to their community. REGULAR DEPARTURE SAFARI TOURS

Our clients visiting East Africa are ensured that they will always be travelling in modern and well maintained vehicles that are appropriate for the territory and itinerary at hand. Untamed Ventures manages a fleet of over 10 air conditioned vehicles, ranging from private saloon cars, safari micro-buses, and four-wheel drive Toyota Land Cruisers, to luxury 45-seat coaches. Our vehicles have sliding windows, roof hatches, and high ground clearance to optimize all around visibility for game viewing and photography. For maximum comfort and optimum enjoyment of the safari, it is our policy to ensure that all of our clients have access to a window seat, which means a maximum of seven passengers per vehicle. For the convenience of our clients, our vehicles are outfitted with a cool box full of water, a pair of binoculars, and wildlife reference books. In addition, each vehicle is equipped with an HF radio set, giving countrywide communication with our radio room that is manned 24 hours a day.

OUR SAFARI VEHICLES

Untamed Ventures offers a large number of regular departure tours, which appeal to a wide range of nationalities and budgets. These safaris offer an ideal opportunity to experience the highlights of Kenya,Tanzania and Rwanda without incurring the expense of an exclusive private safari. Untamed Ventures has designed a selection of tours by road and air, featuring all of the major game parks and reserves throughout the region. These tours range from a one-night stay at a “tree lodge” to a comprehensive fifteen-day safari incorporating the very best of both Kenya and Tanzania. With a wide selection of tours operating throughout the week, it is easy to plan a safari according to preference and time available. Untamed Ventures operates “seat-in-bus” safari tours using safari micro-buses with guaranteed window seats for all participants. Certain safari itineraries can involve transportation in vehicles operated by camps/lodges. The seat configurations in these can and will vary.
